Our idea for RentChicago.com began in 2005 as an answer to the hundreds of fee-based rental Websites on the Internet.

 

We wanted to develop a site that would give sellers an opportunity to advertise their rentals FOR FREE because we saw how expensive it was to go the route of traditional classifieds (both online and off).

 

So, out of frustration, we decided to put our extensive Web experience to use and create RentChicago.com (all of us have been in the industry since the internet as we know it "opened” in 1995). Our goal has always been to provide sellers and renters with simple tools that allow for the exchange of goods using the Web as a vehicle.

 

And… ensuring that rentals could be posted to the site for free.

 

Yes, the Website is FREE for you to post ads for things and property that you want to rent to people in the area that are expressly looking for them.
